We are excited to announce that this year we have FOUR 8th Grade Namaste students earn the Daniel Murphy Scholarship. This scholarship helps students pay for prestigious private high schools for up to four years. This is a competitive scholarship and over 800 students across the city of Chicago apply for the scholarship every year, however, only about 100 are granted the scholarship. We are extremely proud of our Daniel Murphy Scholars and look forward to having many more join the Daniel Murphy club in the upcoming years.

We want to congratulate Mayra Jimenez on her dedication to our community! Our staff nominated her as a teacher of the year for her service to our staff, students, and their families. Mayra will be recognized by the McKinley Park Civic Association as an outstanding educator within the McKinley Park Community on April 21st from 3 to 6 p.m
