Food policy

Our school is committed to serving healthy meals to children, with plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free and low-fat milk; that are moderate in sodium, low in saturated fat, and have zero grams trans fat per serving (nutrition label or manufacturer’s specification); and to meeting the nutrition needs of school children within their calorie requirements.
You’re Invited to Join Us! 🌟

We warmly invite all members of our school community to come and be a part of our School Wellness Committee meetings! Your voice matters, and we’d love for you to join us in shaping a healthier, happier school environment.

Each year, the committee meets to review our current wellness policies and discuss new ideas for improvements. Together, we can create meaningful changes that support the well-being of everyone in our school community.

If you're interested in attending or learning more, please reach out to Rebecca Hartwell at nurse@namastecharterschool.org. We can't wait to have you with us!
